My daughter and I were booked at this hotel for almost 2 months while our flooded apartment was being renovated. The majority of our stay was in a room with 2 double beds. Later, we moved to a room with 2 queen beds, a separate living area and a fully equipped kitchen. It provided us more space and was a much better long term accommodation for a family. It was also a corner unit on the top floor so it was large and quieter. The front desk staff were amazing and so was Jory in the restaurant. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The in-room internet was fast and easy to connect devices to for streaming. There's a lounge area in the restaurant, a fitness center as well as an outdoor pool for the summer months. Stephanie in Guest Services was very friendly, attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, reliable and efficient. She accommodated my requests and went beyond expectations — from flexible extended bookings, dealing with my incompetent and unreliable property manager for insurance purposes, providing a bigger bar fridge the same day when I mentioned the mini fridge smelled bad, to ensuring we could stay in the same room until I inquired about a room with a kitchen to which she had ready for me to move to that same day. She made a very stressful situation much more manageable and even pleasant. She was amazing and our stay would not have been as great without her help. Corrian and Crystal in Guest Services were also very sweet and understanding. Corrian showed my daughter and I which neighbourhood area we could go trick or treating at for Halloween. She was always smiling and friendly. Crystal was also very nice. She processed our final checkout and we had a great chat as she sympathized with us while we vented about the recent chaotic months. The manager, Adrianne was also very kind and reassured us that they are all there to help if we needed anything, Last but not least is Jory in the restaurant. We met him when he brought us room service a few times. In addition to having a great personality and being super sweet, he provided exceptional service. When we didn't have a kitchen, he brought us extra dishes and cutleries we could use in our room. We liked him so much, we played billiards in the lounge area of the restaurant so we could say hi and chat with him. We even stopped by to say bye to him when we finally left the hotel. The excellent customer service provided by the staff made this lengthy stay a wonderful experience where we felt cared for and were almost a part of their hotel family. They do their job well as expected but more importantly, people who show they care and go above and beyond what's required of them are more often rare to find but highly appreciated.
