UNCW's own Dr. Lynn Sikma nominated two of her students, Haley Gilmore '17, who teaches at Freedom Crossing Elementary, and Megan Bradley '16, who teaches 3rd grade at Castle Hayne Elementary. "Haley has blossomed into an absolutely phenomenal teacher and I am proud to see her excel in the profession. She successfully adjusted to online learning this year and she continues to adapt to the changing needs of her students. Megan hosted a block student and intern for the first year and I couldn't have asked for a better partnership teacher!
