How to Watch Xfinity TV on Computer, Phone or Tablet

Download the Xfinity Stream App:

For phones and tablets, download the Xfinity Stream app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

For computers, visit the Xfinity Stream website.

Sign In:

Open the app or website and sign in with your Xfinity account credentials.

Browse and Select Content:

Browse through the available channels, shows, and movies.

Use the search function to find specific content.

Watch Live TV:

To watch live TV, go to the “Live TV” section and select the channel you want to watch.

Watch On Demand:

To watch on-demand content, go to the “On Demand” section and choose the show or movie you want to watch.

Download for Offline Viewing (Mobile Devices Only):

For mobile devices, you can download content for offline viewing by selecting the download icon next to the content.

Access downloaded content in the “Downloads” section of the app.

Parental Controls:

Set up parental controls to restrict access to certain content by going to the settings menu in the app or website.

Troubleshooting:

If you encounter issues, ensure your device is connected to the internet and the app is up to date.

You should have the Xfinity Stream app installed if you're using a mobile device.

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your computer or mobile device has.

Android smartphones are produced by multiple companies, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony, Nokia, Lenovo, and HTC.

Open your preferred browser, typed xfinity.com/stream into the address bar, and press Enter or Return.

Select Sign In at any location on the page.

Enter your Comcast Username and Password, then select Sign In.

Once signed in, you'll be able to:

Purchase a TV package.

Watch live TV.

Stream many of your favorite shows and movies on demand.

In order to stream your Comcast Xfinity television to your mobile device, you will need the Xfinity Stream app.

Getting started with the Xfinity Stream app is very similar on both Android and iOS devices.

Open Xfinity Stream.

Xfinity Stream needs to be able to store TV on your device to allow you to watch offline. The first time you start Xfinity Stream, it will ask permission to access media on your device, select Allow.

A welcome screen is shown. Select Get Started.

Enter your Comcast Username and Password, then select Sign In.

Open Xfinity Stream.

A welcome screen is shown. Select Get Started.

You'll be asked to use your Xfinity account to sign in. Select Continue.

Enter your Comcast Username and Password, then select Sign In.

Much like on the website, you'll be able to:

Purchase a TV package.

Watch live TV.

Stream many of your favorite shows and movies on demand.
