Clearing all doubts surrounding school reopening, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond on Tuesday confirmed that all schools in the state will reopen on June 20.

Addressing concerns, the minister said that both government and private schools will resume classes from the scheduled date, as per the decision taken by the Odisha government.

“The government has decided that all schools will reopen on June 20. Necessary instructions and preparations have been made to ensure smooth reopening,” the minister said.

The minister further informed that directives have been issued to complete all arrangements in advance, including classroom readiness and safety measures for students.

This announcement puts an end to speculations about a possible delay in reopening due to the ongoing monsoon and weather concerns.

The government assured that all precautionary steps have been taken to ensure students return to a safe and conducive learning environment.
